Misshaku and Naraen are the tireless guards of Yamato’s young Empress Yasumiya Kiko. Since her ascension to the Lotus Throne, the Empress has suffered through countless assassination attempts from the eco-terrorists the Alkali Order, who despise her bloodline’s “power” to purify the land of Gray Zone corruption. That she still lives is a testament to the incredible skills and dedication of the two brothers Misshaku and Naraen. Indeed, among the Alkali rank-and-file they are known as “the Oni blooded,” so named for the ancient Eastern demons of the Old World.

But now the two brothers will face their greatest test. The time for the annual Ceremony of Divine Rebirth approaches. They will escort the Empress deep into one of the Yamato Gray Zones, straight to the heart of the broken land, so that through the ritual the Gray Zone can be cleansed. The Alkali Order knows that the yearly ceremony is a time when the Empress will be removed from the safety of her palace, and they will be lying in wait. But Misshaku and Naraen are also prepared. They have donned special Ceremonial Armor representing past calamities: The Gekirou “Relentless Wave” Guard for Misshaku, and the Shaku-En “Crimson Wildfire” Armor for Naraen. Misshaku’s blade will dance among them like foam on a crested wave, while the fire of Naraen’s fury will scorch them to pieces. The Alkali imagines they have a chance to finally rid themselves of the Empress: Misshaku and Naraen will give them none.

一年一度的神聖新生大典即將來臨，密跡和那羅延兩兄弟將面臨最嚴峻的考驗。他們要護送天皇深入其中一個大和戈雷區，直達破碎之地的心臟地帶，在那裡舉行儀式淨化戈雷區。密跡和那羅延不僅做足充分準備，還會穿上那代表著過去災難的特殊儀式盔甲：激浪象徵著那無情洶湧的海浪，紅炎象徵著那猩紅肆虐的野火。

迦尼聖團知道每年大典天皇都會離開她那守衛森嚴的宮殿，他們提前埋伏等待時機。迦尼聖團以為終於有機會除掉天皇，但密跡和那羅延還是沒給他們一絲機會。密跡舞動的刀鋒就像閃耀的浪尖，而那羅延那怒火仿佛能釋放而出將敵人燒成灰燼，這對如同天神護法般的兄弟再次將迦尼聖團的陰謀粉碎。
