To get to the Great Estancian Library in time, the Bucks Team would first need to cross the desertified Estancian Gray Zone, and fast. As Assault Captain, Jack was charged by Bob with leading the charge across scavenger-infested dunes, driving through them like a wrecking ball to give the rest of the Bucks Team a way forward. The rolling sands of the deserts were alive with the sound of gunfire as Jack took a squadron of Hellbenders and, guns ablaze, made a head-on attack on one of the scavenger’s main camps. The chaos of battle provided ample cover for the rest of the Bucks Team to make it deeper into the desert, the sound of Jack’s mad laughter mixing with the crack of gunshots eventually receding into the soft moan of the sandy desert wind.
