Within the members of the SPG PLTOON that offer protective power to the Ursus Guard, there is no doubt that squads play a central role. Each squad consists of two soldiers led by a captain whose role is to operate the heavy missiles on the SPG unit to suppress enemy assaults, fire on enemy bases, provide heavy firepower that covers frontline troops, and achieve the army's overall combat goals. Aside from operating missiles and repairing equipment, SPG SQUAD are also equipped with mid and short-range weapons to fend off potential close-range ambushes from enemies.

【灰熊守衛軍團 自走砲兵小隊】
灰熊守衛軍團的援護力量「自走砲打擊聯隊」成員當中，砲兵小隊無疑扮演著最核心的角色。其由隊長率領兩名士兵所組成，其職責在於妥善操作自走砲車上的兩門重型火砲，來壓制對方攻勢、或者砲擊對方陣地，從而為戰場前線的同袍們提供強大的火力援護，進而達成軍團整體的作戰目標。砲兵小隊除了操作火砲與整備維修之外，自身也配備中、近程兵器，用以抵擋敵方可能的近距離突襲。

ウルサスガード軍団 自走砲兵スクワッド
ウルサスガード軍団の支援部隊である自走砲プラトーンのメンバーの中で、最も中心的な役割を果たしているのは間違いなく「砲兵スクワッド」だろう。 隊長が率いる2人の兵士で構成されており、自走砲で2基の重火器を巧みに操って、敵の攻撃を抑制し、敵の陣地に砲撃を浴びせることができるため、戦場の最前線では強力な火力で敵を攻撃する役目を果たし、軍の全体的な作戦目標の達成に貢献している。 砲兵スクワッドは兵器の操作とメンテナンスに加えて、自身が配備されている間は、近距離からの襲撃に対抗するための中距離および短距離の兵器も搭載する。
